The HollyShorts Film Festival, a prominent showcase for short-form cinema, has assembled a diverse and celebrated jury for its 2026 edition. Alan Tudyk, Andrew Rannells, Kelly Marie Tran, and Rita Ora are among the high-profile names who will evaluate this year’s competition, USA Film News has learned exclusively.

The festival, which runs from August 13 through August 22 in Los Angeles, has built a reputation for launching careers and highlighting emerging talent. Jury Lineup Features Hollywood Veterans and Rising Talent

Alan Tudyk, best known for his role as K-2SO in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and his extensive voice work in Disney and animated projects, brings decades of experience across film, television, and theater. Andrew Rannells, a Tony-nominated Broadway performer and star of Girls, The Book of Mormon, and The Boys in the Band, adds a strong background in both comedy and drama. Kelly Marie Tran, who broke barriers as Rose Tico in the Star Wars sequel trilogy and continues to garner acclaim for her work in The Last Jedi and Raya and the Last Dragon, contributes a fresh perspective from the forefront of blockbuster filmmaking.

Rita Ora, the global pop star and actress who has appeared in Fifty Shades of Grey and Fast & Furious 6, rounds out the panel with her unique understanding of cross-platform storytelling and international appeal. The festival’s organizers noted that each juror brings distinct tastes and expertise, ensuring a thorough evaluation of entries.

Past juries have included stars like Rosario Dawson, Gina Rodriguez, and Anjelica Huston, and alumni of the festival have gone on to win Oscars, Emmy nominations, and major studio deals.
