Actress Evan Rachel Wood has voiced her disappointment over being left out of the upcoming sequel “Practical Magic 2,” revealing that she volunteered to return but was never invited back. “It’s sad,” Wood said in a recent interview. “It seems like they’re not following the book.”

Wood originated the role of young Kylie Owens in the 1998 original, playing the younger version of Sally Owens’ daughter. In the sequel, that character has been recast with Joey King stepping into the adult version of Kylie.
